About this Death Cafe
We try to run Death Cafes once a month. It is good community initiative which allow people to discuss matters of death in a totally honest format.
About Aidan Gillespie
Aidan Gillespie is deeply interested in the subject of death and how its impact forces us to improve our day to day living before the inevitable .
The second facilitator is Kevin Power who has a PhD in philosophy from University College Cork, 2015. Ihe is interested in the concept of interdependence as understood in Zen Buddhism, with a particular interest in how our beliefs shape our behaviours. Philosophy of mind, and ethics (with an emphasis on environmental concerns) in UCC. Kevin is actively researching the work of Kerry philosopher John Moriarty.
