About this Death Cafe

I have been attending online Death Cafes for awhile because there haven't been any in person meeting organized in Buffalo for years.

Driven by the need for providing a safe space where people can gather and have open conversations about death, I've decided to organize my own in person meetings.

I am proud to be hosting a Death Cafe at The Merry Shelley - Buffalo's only literary themed romantic horror bar. The space is limited so you'll need to register prior to attending. This event is for 21+ only (valid I.D. needed).

This is a conversation circle type of meeting with no agenda and no goals. The only purpose is to freely and respectfully express our views around death.

Note: this is not a grief support event.
