About this Death Cafe
Michelle and Mike see a need to help people understand and deal with death. The Drayton Memorial Celebration Center, the sponsor is a new facility in town that is a Funeral Home and event center to help people with all of the important events in your life. Anniversaries, weddings, funerals and many other life events are what the building was designed for and it is a warm comfortatable place for people to gather.
The Death Cafe is a way for Drayton Memorial to support the community in a special way by providing a place to go to learn and explore the many facets of death in our world. We will offer a supportive and safe format where people can ask questions and discuss many of the questions surrounding death and how people deal with this eventuality.
About Michelle Mielnik
Michelle has been to Death Cafes before and is involved as a grief counseller. The co-host, Mike McCrae is an apprentice funeral director and Certified End of Life Practicioner.
