About this Death Cafe
This Death Cafe will be hosted in a beautiful, quirky, private home in London E5. We aim to create a welcoming space for people of all genders, sexualities and backgrounds at all stages of life.
We aim to create a space where people feel safe to share personal information. Therefore we ask that you arrive at 7pm so that the conversation can start promptly at 7.15 and include everyone.
About Abby Waldman and Sarah Pletts
Hackney Death Cafe's organisers are: Abby Waldman a Buddhist-leaning free thinker with a healthy interest in death, and Sarah Pletts, an artist and carer.
Facilitator Bruce Currie has a background in group facilitation and previously ran an art department at a hospice.
