About this Death Cafe
We all meet death in other people, and await our own. This is an opportunity for gentle and thoughtful discussion with friendly strangers about a sensitive and finally irresistable reality, the one most certain event in all our futures. A safe and respectful place to listen and talk about a subject not often shared. No hidden agenda. One-off evening, unless people choose to meet again.
This event is free. Coffee, cake etc available to buy. No alcohol. Private room.
About David Standley
I am David, a local resident. I have attended other Death Cafes in London, and found them safe and friendly experiences, illuminating and serious, but not heavy or depressing, quite the contrary. There is lightness and gratitude, an air of freedom. I have some skills as a facilitator.
