About Mel McClave :
My name is Mel McClave. I'm a Death Doula in private practice since 2018. I've cohosted an Online Death Cafe every month since June 2020 (https://deathcafe.com/deathcafe/17353/) and am excited to host regularly scheduled in-person Death Cafes starting in August 2023. My Death Cafes are free and done as an act of service.
I've learned a lot about living, working with the dying.
I'm driven by an insatiable curiosity to understand the source of kindness, humor, art, communication, and love.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I love discussing dying and death. The topic is one that is personal and intimate and creates connection with myself and others
What would you like your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be one of loving connection. I want my life to make the world a better place.
My wish is that all who knew me remember to live their lives to the fullest and continue to make the world a better place
