About Anne.Ohman:
I Am Anne Ohman. I live on top of a mountain in beautiful Delaware County, NY.
Feeling the effects of our cultural death aversion, I sought to find and create more Meaning, Connection and Reverence in our death experiences... just as I do in all aspects of LIFE. And I want to empower others if they, too, are seeking the same. I became a Death Doula in 2022 in order to learn how to do just that. I am also a Funeral Celebrant and a Humanist Wedding Officiant.
I facilitate Death Cafes at very cool locations around Delaware + Otsego Counties in New York State to normalize talking about death because I feel that this is where we must begin.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
It is my PASSION to normalize talkig about death. I began holding Community Death Conversations in March 2023 and have seen firsthand how necessary they are and how HUNGRY our society is to Talk About Death.
