About Kelly Martin:
I am a NYS licensed funeral director, councilwoman, secretary for Maplewood Cemetery in my hometown and a student at Marian University for my Masters degree in Thantology. I am planning on persuing my PhD in Transpersonal Psychology.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I have been an advocate for the death positive movement since mortuary school and came upon the Order of the Good Death through my studies there.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I hope that the people I meet can undersatand that when we accept that death will happen and at any time is when we begin to truly live.
