About Ana Cassigneul

Ana Cassigneul (she/her) says she is simply another mortal worried about death. She had the impetus to create a Death Cafe in Trondheim after having participated in such events herself. Death is a taboo, it's scary, and she finds that life has more flavor when we talk about death, when we look at how it shapes our lives. In death café, she finds depth, new perspectives, fun and comfort.

She is also a science and communication enthusiast, a facilitator of confidential sharing spaces, a family member, a friend. She currently works in Trondheim as a yoga and meditation teacher and as a counselor in support of research activities in academia.
