About Bill Palmer:
I'm an Executive Leadership coach. Creating and sharing community is important to me, and Death Cafe is one way I can do that. It's an honor and a privilege to do so.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
Death has visited many people close to me throughout my life. What jumped out at me as a child was how people behaved at death rituals--they were gentle, compassionate, emotional, caring, kind and generous. I wondered then why those behaviors didn't show up more often.
After my mother spent time in a hospice and then died, I took a more active interest in death, becoming a hospice volunteer abd a Death Cafe leader. Both are very life affirmiong for me.
