About this Death Cafe

We hold our monthly Death Cafe in the light, airy and beautiful surroundings of a Unitarian Chapel. We will begin with participants sharing why they have come, break to get refreshments and then continue with freeform conversation in small groups. We try to keep any facilitation or structure to a minimum, with facilitators only there to keep conversation on topic, ensure all voices are heard and keep track of time.

We meet on the last Sunday of the month except in August and December.

We gather to share experiences and thoughts as we work to end the taboo around the subject of death and end of life matters. Many feel a deep connection at these gatherings. Although a regular group has grown over meeting monthly - newcomers are always welcome!
