About this Death Cafe
Welcome to the Death Cafe, a safe and comfortable space for discussing death and related topics. It can be challenging to find opportunities to talk about this subject in our daily lives, and that's why the Death Cafe movement was established, to give people a place to share their thoughts and experiences. Although not a therapy session, we believe that discussing death can help us appreciate life more fully.
The Macclesfield & Bollington Death Cafe is facilitated by Laura Doherty and is open to all who wish to attend. We invite you to come along and join us for an informal and non-judgemental discussion on death and bereavement.
There is no charge for attending, but as we currently use the cafe at Substation as a venue, we ask that you purchase a drink to help cover the costs.
