About this Death Cafe
Our aim at the Clinton Death Cafe is to provide a friendly, relaxed, and, hopefully, fun environment for people to talk about and explore issues surrounding death and end of life, without an agenda, judgment, or criticism.
There's no obligation to speak: you can listen to what others have to say while you sit and enjoy cake, coffee, and tea!
About Mark Hemendinger, Kristin Burkle & Mark Hemendinger
The facilitators of the Clinton Death Cafe are Kristin, an Occupational Therapist, and Mark, a retired Hospice Social Worker. Between them they have 40 years of experience working with the elderly and terminally ill patients.
Pat grew up in a funeral home (and had awesome Halloween parties in high school) and had a long career in nutrition and wellness. She is currently a funeral associate.
