About this Death Cafe

Sue and Julie have run Death cafes over many years in Canterbury, Whitstable and Thanet areas of Kent. The conversatoins are wide ranging, respectful and usually some laughter along the way.

We try to start on time , have a break for refreshments and fiish on time. We always leave feeling lighter in spirts than before.

There is a huge desire by the people who come to talk, listen and share experiences.

Death cafes are free to attend. We have a box for voluntary small contributions towards the  Umbrella Centre, with no pressure to give.

About Sue Goodrum and Julie Fraser Reid

Sue and Julie both worked together, Sue as a Funeral Celebrant and Julie as a Funeral Director. Both have a good sense of humour as well as being sensitive and kind people
