About this Death Cafe

We are both part of a local group in Medway; The Brown Bread Collective, who are all dedicated to improving the conversations, knowledge and choices around death and dying, and breaking the taboos around talking about grief and death. 

About Candy and Candy

We are two women named Candy that want to further the conversations around grief, death and dying.

Candy Worf has been facilitating conversations around death and dying in her work for the past three years in extra care housing mental health groups and has had a little book published with a chapter on convention around loss and using flower arranging. She is currently studying for an NCFE in End if Life Care.

Candy Penfold has been working with the dying in several different careers for over 15 years, and has been regularly volunteering in her local Medway community for the past 7. She is currently studying to become an End Of Life Doula with Living Well Dying Well, under the instruction of the brilliant Hermione Elliott.
