About this Death Cafe
This is an opportunity to talk about death and dying. We hope those attending will find it helps breakdown the barriers of talking about the last taboo.
Tea and cakes will be provided at the Jubilee Restaurant at Havering College. The restaurant is staffed by students, both in the kitchens and front of house.
About Dr Gurdev Saini
Dr Gurdev Saini is a Clinical Director of Havering CCG and leads on End of Life Care.
He is a GP based in Romford, and has a special interest in palliative and end of life care. He has worked as a GP facilitator for MacMillan Cancer Support since 2007, serves as a trustee at St Francis Hospice in Havering atte Bower, and is the nursing home project lead.
