About this Death Cafe
The event is being hosted at a Surrey YMCA. The youth will need permission slips from their parents/guardians to attend.
About Tricia Keith
I am a program graduate of
Death Midwifery/Home Funeral Guide Training and a hospice volunteer
This will be my third Death Cafe. During second one I hosted, a teenage participant said that she wished there were more Death Cafes for her age group. Hence this next one.
I have worked a fair amount with Youth-at-Risk, teaching art and yoga. I love working wth this age group.
What drives me is my passion about the possibility of healing that can occur when the fundamental connection between life and death are embraced.
