About this Death Cafe
This Death Cafe will be held in the context of Parinirvana Day, which marks the death of the Buddha. Traditionally on this day we remember loved ones who have recently died. It is also a day that strongly brings once's own impermanence to mind. We hope facilitating a Death Cafe according to the format described on this site will be a valuable part of this festival day and particularly wish it can be of use to the wider community.This event is open to everyone, regardless of whether you are a Buddhist or not.
