About this Death Cafe

This is Calgary's 7th Death Cafe in less than a year! Calgarians of all ages are gathering to talk about life and death in these relaxed, yet stimulating events.

This event is being co-sponsored by the Unitarian Church of Calgary. They are providing the space and refreshments, and keen enthusiasm for conversation about death and other transitions in life.

As always,this Death Cafe is open to everyone, will not promote any religious doctrine, and is free of charge.

About Wendy Kurchak

Wendy is a former nurse and high school guidance counselor who now holds certification in thanatology through the Association for Death Education and Counselling. She is a hospice volunteer, an online instructor in thanatology, conference presenter, and the Communication and Fund Development Coordinator for the Alberta Hospice Palliative Care Association.
