About this Death Cafe
This is an invitation to persons in the community. It is not an opportunity to talk about my church or to lead people into any religious understandings of death. I have observed that people yearn to talk about death but rarely feel comfortable doing so - and end up facing these questions at a time of bereavement. The setting is a local cafe. People will be invited to sit at small tables for informal conversations arising from their own questions - and, of course, purchase cake.
