About this Death Cafe

When Washington Post Wonk Blog's Ezra Klein opined in one of his weekly columns, "Can we please talk about death like adults?" I decided it was time to move off of the sidelines and take an active role. Death Cafe DC seeks to share ideas, resourses and support to help make normalizing the conversations around death an attainable goal.

As an informal forum, it is meant to be intimate, so we shall break into groups when necessary. We will provide support should anyone find that they need it but our main goal is to facilitate open, honest adult conversations about end-of life issues, death and a life well-lived.

This event is co-hosted and generously sponsored by the entire staff at the historic Congressional Cemetery.
