About Bernadette L Laster
Bernadette has a Liberal Arts Degree in Mental Heath/Human Services. She has spent over 25 years working in the field of Human Services including starting her own corporation, K. B. Learning and Support Services Inc, which she had for over 11 years. Bernadette has devoted her life to helping others overcome adversity, reach their potential, and live consciously. Bernadette has worked with individuals with the diagnoses of developmental disabilities, chronic mental illness and substance abuse challenges. Her devotion to service has never ceased, her extensive experience as a teacher, speaker and curriculum developer has enabled businesses to thrive. Coined a pioneer by her colleagues, Bernadette has developed and facilitated classes that have become the template for Human Services agencies throughout Philadelphia and its surrounding counties. She was the first to develop a medication monitoring class for mental health providers which has since become the standard in the state of Pennsylvania.
Bernadette's extensive work in Human Services and her ability to overcome extraordinary challenges has lead her to her life purpose. Bernadette's personal experience and her ability to endure tremendous suffering and loss is remarkable. She has experienced the death of her entire nuclear family. Her mother, father, brother, her beloved life partner and dog. She has also experienced the death of many, many dear friends and extended family members all before the age of 45. She has been able, to transmute and alchemies these life events and heal, simply by seeking and asking for help. Bernadette actively reached out to other professionals for help and utilized various support services for own personal grief and loss. Because of her willingness to get and receive support, Bernadette is now in a position able to be of service to others who are currently experiencing similar challenges.This is the foundation which has prepared her for her calling as an intuitive healer.
Though naturally gifted, she continues to strengthen her skills through education by studying mysticism at the CMED Institute with renowned medical intuitive and author Caroline Myss. She also studied extensively under psychiatrist, neuroscientist and psychic, Dr. Mona Lisa Schultz MD PhD.
