Monika Stasiak

Cultural anthropologist, master of ceremonies. She prepares and conducts secular rites of passage and humanistic ceremonies related to the human life cycle. She accompanies people with whom she works in moments that are important to them: when welcoming children to the family, entering adulthood, assuming new roles and saying goodbye to loved ones. She looks for ways to create communities and forms in which secular spirituality can be realized. In her work, she draws from Arnold van Gennep's theory of rites of passage. She completed the "Creating a Personal Farewell" training run by the Institute of Good Death. Based on the experience from the University of Folk Artistic Crafts, she also conducts workshops that combine traditional creative techniques with rituals.
