About this Death Cafe
WELCOME TO THE FIRST EVER MEETING OF GRAMPIAN DEATH CAFE.
Having made an intensive study of 'death and dying' when doing my celebrancy training, I have become a passionate advocate for natural burials, but even more than that, I am passionate about Death - particularly in getting people to talk about it.
It is such a hard conversation to have with loved ones, but talking to an elderly relative, or even a young one, about what their wishes are for their 'end of life', can make the process so much less stressful for everyone involved.
So let's get the conversation going! After all, 'TALKING ABOUT DEATH WON'T KILL YOU!'
About Anne Ritchie
I am a Family and Funeral celebrant, based in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. I am also a teacher, a writer and a gardener (although not necessarily in that order!)
Happy places are my garden and the seaside. Sadly, these are twenty miles apart!
I have worn many 'hats' in my time - WRAF Officer, Retail Administration Manager, Teacher of English, Online Teacher and Garden Designer, to name a few.
I love gardens, art and music - they feed my soul.
